Hello! I’m Dr. Daniel Tessier. My consulting work grew out of a 30+ year career focused on parallel scientific themes:

How man-made chemicals interact with the human body, and how man-made chemicals interact with the environment
​
How the environment effects human health, and how human activities effect the global environment
I earned my BS in Chemistry and MS and PhD in Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, followed by an NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of California – Davis.
While on the faculty of the University of Illinois Chicago, I gave voice to my passion for exploring and communicating science as it pertains to the environment and human health. I taught and ran a research program in the UIC School of Public Health and served as a Study Director at the UIC Toxicology Research Laboratory, conducting pre-clinical studies for new drugs and devices.

As a regulatory scientist for DuPont, I managed environmental safety research for a portfolio of chemicals and was responsible for responding to domestic and international environmental regulations. I earned my project management skills at DuPont, directing a research program involving an international consortium of contract research organizations and routinely encompassing 30 to 50 simultaneous research studies ranging in duration from one week to five years.
With ChemIntel Consulting, I aim to coalesce my prior experience into one comprehensive service – clear, accurate and effective information, communication, and project goal attainment.
